Three Sisters archiveA modern man-free adaptation of the Chekhov classic. In a room tiny back garden in a house outside a terraced house in a provincial town Wigan, three sisters wait for their lives to begin. Olga, the eldest lonely workaholic. Masha, the middle child depressed womaniser. Irina, the youngest ukulele-playing dreamer. As the seasons pass and the world shrinks and the garden seems to get smaller and smaller, they pine for Manchester and frustrate and fortify each other like only sisters can. With sarky comments, TikTok dance routines and bitching about other people.
