Ikpiko describes the abuse reigned on girls who are not circumcised in mid-western Nigeria. The play occurs during an "inquiry into the happen stances" of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Chilling stories gradually unfold which, piece by piece, gather together the lives of these seven affected women. Will they ever break their silence to testify? Can their stories ever be heard?
