The Singing Group archiveThe Singing Group was inspired by Judith Johnson's personal experience at a music concert given by a singing group - an assortment of different people, none of them professional singers. The play follows the trials and tribulations the group members go through in order to share their voices, a bravery which is impressive, touching and heartening. Judith Johnson explores what singing can do for us, and why it is that people find it so hard to express their voices in today's world.
