A moving and original story about a small boy's life in rural Wales and his friend from Outer Space, from the writer of Crazy Gary's Mobile Disco and Ghost City. Set in the early 1980s, sci-fi fanatic Luke is about to start at the big comp. Taunted by his friend Katie, who warns him of the bullying he'll suffer at the comp, Luke finds refuge in his alter-ego, Shadow.
