The play is set in a crumbling seaside town in the South-East of England, where childhood friends Nick and Curtis were born. After one night takes a horrific turn, Nick moves to London to carve a new life for himself and forget about his past. Nine years later, he returns to bury his ghosts, with his girlfriend Flora. But for Curtis, Nick's return isn't the blessing it ought to be.
