The Passion Play archive2,000 years ago a baby was born, 2,000 years later, on the eve of a new millennium, the story is re-told - Christ's birth and the life of the man he grew up to be. The story is told using the finest sequences and extracts from the Medieval Mystery Plays, written some 600 years ago, in a compilation by the internationally recognised writer and director, Nigel Bryant. From the antics of the shepherds on the night of Jesus' birth to Mary Magdalene's meeting with the resurrected Christ, this production gives you a marvellously entertaining and surprisingly humorous experience. In this way, The Passion Play spans the centuries and inspires us all with new hope for the future as we look back into the past.
