The Northern Trawl archive'We're the hundred year haulers, we're trawling again, We'll show you disaster, our laughter our pain'. The Northern Trawl is a celebration of Hull's now vanished fishing industry and associated communities. Accumulated by the authors through hours of real-life stories and anecdotes, this funny and moving play recalls the fishing industry in it's heyday. You won't know whether to laugh or cry as the voices of Hull and Grimsby fishermen recount tales of hardship, humour, courage and tragedy as they fish the hostile Arctic waters. If you've ever eaten fish, you must see the Northern Trawl!
