The Long Mirror archiveMichael Camber is a troubled man. A composer of some renown and an artist driven by passions both creative and destructive, Michael is about to comfort a disturbing vision of himself. In a quiet country hotel, Michael meets Branwen Elder, a complete stranger who claims she knows everything about him, good and bad. Initially tempted to dismiss her as an obsessive fan or a harmless crank, Michael realises that no-one is more disquieted by Branwen's extraordinary knowledge than she herself is . Can he dare believe that Branwen can really 'see' into his life, with all the earth-shattering implications that would entail? But as he hears more and more of Branwen's compelling tale, can Michael reconcile himself to the idea that she may be deceiving him?
