The King of Scotland archiveThe King of Scotland is alive and well and living among us in a Glasgow high rise slum. If only the rest of us could see in Tommy McMillan what he sees himself we'd return him to his rightful home in Edinburgh Castle. Iain Heggie's outrageous, disgusting and hilarious comedy is loosely based on Gogol's classic Diary of a Madman but is set firmly in post devolution Scotland.
