The Hitchhiker's Guide to Fazakerley archiveMarty Murphy's dad was obsessed with Outer Space. So much so that in his will he left instructions that his ashes be scattered by his family while wearing costumes from famous space movies. This is where our story begins, in Marty's back garden in Fazakerley but just as dad's ashes are about to be scattered a close encounter with some visiting aliens sends the family into panic when one of them is captured and taken to Venus for 'experiments'. You might think there's nothing a Fazakerley family can do if their teenage son is captured by aliens but you'd be wrong, because lying in Marty's shed is a very strange vehicle which his dad secretly built before he passed away. Neil Armstrong may have been the first man on the moon, but Marty Murphy is about to become the first Scouser in Space, as he and his family go after the aliens.
