The Head of the Fork archiveFred and Dom are two housemates trapped in a life of mundane routine, fearful of what the future holds. They are in need of companionship, but their lack of ability to express this results in a struggle for power and dominance. After a long friendship, living together has proved a risk too far as their relationship grinds to a painful halt. Time that has passed since they flew the nest has left them disconnected from their youth, though they are not yet adults. The play deals directly with a generation stuck in an empty loop, where the present seems like a trap and the future a cruel joke.
