The Dying Gaul archiveRobert follows the teachings of the Buddha. If it feels good, Jeffrey does it. They collide in LA, and Robert's attempt to remain true to himself, his screenplay, and the memory of his dead lover is the focus of Lucas' play. Exploiting the metamorphic possibilities of internet chat rooms, and with uncompormisingly sexual language, the play explores notions of selfhood in a society where love and meaning are the latest commodities.
