Details
The Dream Train is a witty exploration of chance, insomnia and Johann Sebastian Bach by one of Scotland's leading playwrights. The play is set in a strange netherworld of dreams and insomnia somewhere on the East Coast of Scotland. An insomniac Baron passes his nights listening to Bach's Goldberg Variations, no longer able to distinguish between his dreams and reality. Meanwhile his wife, travelling home by train, meets a young man who seems to be heading to the same destination.
The Dream Train was first seen at the Traverse, Edinburgh in the Autumn of '99, where it sold out performances and received both critical and public acclaim.
