The Days of the Commune archiveParis, 1871. The end of the bitter Franco Prussian war and the people of Paris are starving within their city walls. The national government have set up in Versailles leaving the city without leadership. In the uprising of a people to claim what is rightfully theirs, and the fight to keep it, comes a question still valid today: must peace be sacrificed to be achieved?
