Three New Short Plays. Resham (Silk) by Yasmin Khan. Based in Bedford, Yasmin has produced documentary work for Anglia TV and has recently been writing and performing comedy and sketches. Jeevan Sathi examines the pressures on a gay relationship in a contemporary British Asian setting written by scientist and comedian Ashok Patel (also a co-writer of Arrange That Marriage. Each play uses the setting of the 'Corner Shop' as it's starting point.
