The Confession archiveThe fascist Estado Novo government has been overthrown in the Carnation Revolution, so called because not a shot was fired in the civil resistance and in celebration the public placed carnation flowers in the muzzles of rifles and on the uniforms of the army. As the Catholic Church tries to hold on to its moral power in the turmoil of the economic aftermath, a shocked priest hears the confession of a glamorous trans woman.
