The Banned Wagon archiveEngland 2087: a puritanical yet strictly secular regime rules the world. All worship has been banned. This includes the worship of other human beings, hence celebrity in punishable by death. All unauthorised performance is forbidden. Underground movements rebel against this oppressive regime and stage outlawed live performances. The authorities, however, are ruthless in their mission to impose the rule of law, and the rebels know they perform on borrowed time.
