A group of local unemployed young people on a Prince's Trust Performing Arts course in Bristol have created and will be performing a unique show in the Bristol Old Vic Studio at the end of their course on Friday 25 July. The group has been working towards the performance during a three-week Truth about Youth Performing Arts course, supported by youth charity The Prince's Trust. Smoke and Bridges is the result of this year's performing arts course in collaboration with Bristol Old Vic. It has been conceived, researched and developed by the young people on the course in collaboration with a team of professional theatre makers. The course aims to help local unemployed young people gain the skills and confidence they need to find work, and ultimately highlight the positive contribution that young people make to the community.
