'Scorched' follows Donnell and Lena; a couple attempting to maintain a cocoon of normality in spite of an unknown menace that looms just offstage, threatening everything. Their good-natured teasing turns caustic after Lena falls in love with one of Donnell's paintings. The pair are sent spiralling into a cycle of escalating hostility and cruelty which eventually turns deadly.
