Scarlett is the stage name that Cathy MacGregor took when performing as a dancer in strip clubs and lap-dancing clubs in the United States. Scarlett's Story is a performance which presents these life experiences as art through the recreation of fragmented memories and images from that time. A mix of live performance, projected images and video, Scarlett's Story examines the intersections and disjunctions of the female artist as sex worker and the sex worker as female artist.
