Salad of the Bad Cafe archive'Salad of the Bad Cafe' begins in the year 1945, Japan is weeping, the American South is seething and the world gender has not yet been invented. It ends in a kind of cyberspace where there are no ups, no downs and no exit. The bit in between is a beautiful and brutal love story about a triangle of misfits who would fight to love rather then be loved. Inspired by Carson McCuller's novel 'Ballad of the Sad Cafe', and the lives and work of Tennessee Williams and Yukio Mishima, 'Salad of the Bad Cafe' is a study of queer love in a post-catastrophic era.
