Rumble Fish archiveA searing story of confused loyalties. rusty-James longs for the days of gangs and street fights, when his brother, the Motorcycle Boy was top dog, the leader of the pack. But things have changed and his blind drive to be like his hero is tearing him apart. "I'm going to be just like him no-one can stop me, it's the way things are." A young boy wipes away the blood and pulls on his brother's jacket. In the distance a motorcycle engines roars. "I wanted to be the toughest street-fighter and the most respected hood on our side of the river I had tried everything. Even though nothing had worked so far, that didn't mean nothing ever would." This adaptation of S.E. Hinton's cult novel is a fast paced, Tarantino-esque snapshot of the violent ganglands of urban America.
