Rum and Vodka and The Good Thief archiveFrom the author of the multi-award winning The Weir. Two stunning monologues, brutal, hilarious and moving. In Rum and Vodka we meet an ordinary young Dublin man. The play looks back over a three day drinking binge in which he loses his job, has a row with his wife and plunges into a booze sodden and miserable sequence of dramas. The Good Thief tells of a self-proclaimed paid thug. When he botches a beating and is forced to take a young mother and her daughter prisoner, he is forced to rethink his violent way of life, even while perpetuating its horror.
