Roommates archiveMike lives on his own in a dingy room, somewhere. He spends his days hanging out with a cup, who is his best mate, drinking tea and putting the world to rights. He is also harassed by his Toaster, a strange pervy uncle figure, and is intimidated by The Fridge. These objects are at once his mates, hopes and fears, all voiced and controlled by a mysterious figure. Plagued by visions of the past, Mike is unable to get his life back on track. With issues of guilt, longing, regret, self-loathing and physical and mental abuse, Roomates is an absurd comedy wrapped up with a wonderful tea dance.
