Pat and Ronnie work the lighthouse at Muckle Flugga above the deep North Sea - neighbour to 46,000 gannets and 200,000 puffins. Vegetarian ex-student Dougie lands, the newest keeper of the light. But Dougie didn't do lighthouse lore at Uni. So maybe his eyes will get pecked out by a bonxie, he'll be attacked by a basking shark, or Davy Jones may come calling. Meantime he's got his hands full with Ronnie's malevolence and Pat's creepy homeliness. As the walls close in, they play 'rock, paper, scissors' to determine who is king for the day.
