Ratbags archiveRatbags is the amusing story of six twenty somethings, struggling in a rut to make it in their chosen professions, lost in a world of clubbing, stealing street signs and meeting people off telephone chat lines. They live a farcical and chaotic lifestyle interrupted only by social occasions yet find themselves helplessly lonely in the overall snapshot of their lives. Ratbags explores the effects of complete frustration that so many of us encounter at some time in our lives when we scream 'What am I doing with my life?!' at ourselves. A combination of setbacks, career failures, too much clubbing and unrequited love can make some people fall over the edge. The play also provides an entertaining look into the gay community of Sydney, Australia.
