Details
The play has been commissioned by Angus Council as part of its year 2000 celebrations, and Millennium co-ordinator Lorna McKenzie, urged people not to miss the chance of seeing this once-in-a-lifetime production. This spectacular production will give the boy who never grew up a hip new image, - said Lorna. It will be a startling visual treat, taking audiences on a magical journey to Never Never Land, with haunting mystical scenes and live music. Dance fusion band, Celtic Wah Wah, have composed music especially for the production and will be performing live, while a talented design team will create spellbinding puppets and masks for the event. Graham McLaren, theatrebabel s artistic director, commented: For this production we have developed a new version of Peter Pan - a hybrid of the novel and the play. We hope our staging of Barrie s story will take children on a great flight of the imagination, and make adults feel the poignancy of their lost childhoods.
