A comic satire about the death of an icon. It's the summer of 2008 and the temperature is rising in every sense. The death of former Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher has resurrected the bitter divides of the 1980s. Half the country mourns while the other half celebrates with impromptu street parties. However, when the newly crowned Labour Prime Minister announces a state funeral for the late PM, a sense of outrage grips those communities worst affected by the Thatcher years and brings the political differences in one North East family to breaking point. Recommended: age 16+ only.
