Homesick archiveBased on a true story, the play takes place in a Tel Aviv apartment and examines the journey of loss against the backdrop of a society influenced and driven by politics. The play strives to be politically even handed. A year after the death in action of the Rozen's only son Yoav, at the age of 19, the family has yet to discover a way of dealing with their loss. Into this grief-stricken household comes Gil, an ambitious young army reporter, looking for a story on decorated Israeli heroes. Illuminating and unbiased, this carefully choreographed piece of physical theatre exposes the devastation caused by the tragic loss of a young man.
