Hermiston is the story of a tumultuous relationship between a father and son, a story of justice, passion, intrigue and murder. While revolution burns in France, a tyrannical hanging judge, Lord Hermiston, confronts his liberal son Archie in a small Borders town, under the watchful eye of their housekeeper, Kirstie.
