Happy Natives archiveA witty and welcome departure from the usual tales of adversity or happy dancing natives, award-winning writer Greig Coetzee takes the lid off contemporary South Africa. Black actor Mto buys a house next to exborder patrol guard Jimmy and their garden fence in the Durban "burbs" becomes the new frontline in this biting new satire. Greig Coetzee won a Fringe First award (Edinburgh 2000) and has won many awards including Playwright of the Year, Best Play and three Best Actor awards in South Africa.
