Goblins Don't Scare Us archiveThe perfect family Christmas show, Goblins Don't Scare Us draws on legend, fable and folklore to tell a traditional tale of good triumphing over evil. Based on Nigel Osner's classic children's book Magic in Ravenswood, it's a thrilling adventure packed with dark forests, enchanting castles, goblins and witches. Take a plucky young prince and his strange new tutor. Mix with one slightly batty witch, the daftest pigeon you can find, and a wise owl to oversee proceedings. Leave to simmer then add a dangerous mercenary (preferably a black raven with talons) and a French cat (but watch how you handle her!) Garnish with a generous measure of funny and original songs, some carefully crafted spells and just a little pinch of danger. Serve hot and allow the magic to begin...
