Get Ken Barlow archiveSoap opera mad, Maize brothers, Gerry and Vince are the not so proud owners of 'The Amazing Model Village' in Miles Platting, a suburb of Manchester. Since their father's death and their mother ran off with Wayne Midnight life has been a bit grim. The brothers spend their time in the company of a mute, crash helmet wearing friend called Elvis, and Lesley, a slightly mad Boyzone devotee who they met on one of their frequent visits to Granada studios. With business less than booming at their neglected, weather worn model village, a rescue plan is called for. What better way to re-launch a failing business than with a celebrity opening. But with a serious lack of money there is only one thing to do - Get Ken Barlow! Madness and mayhem ensue as the kidnap does not go quite to plan. Not entirely sure what to do with their hostage once they have him, this really is I'm a celebrity get me out of here! Contains very strong language and sexual references.
