Garage Band archiveThe late 70s were rebellious times when Sheena was a punk rocker, things seemed pretty vacant and everyone was searching for teenage kicks. But that was over 30 years ago and times change. Gavin was right there at the very beginning. Penny has always wanted to be Beki Bondage. Danny looks set to become Britain's first Punk Professor. And Alan is addicted to Guitar Hero. Four forty-somethings form a punk covers band to bring some energy to their increasingly middle age lives. But as they mature from three chord thrashers into a blistering live outfit they find that they are stirring up much more than some of them can handle. With a live soundtrack celebrating the sounds of the time from The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, The Sex Pistols, The Ramones and The Damned, Garage Band is a nostalgia-fuelled comedy about what happens when you try and recreate the anarchy of your youth.
