Future Human: An Alternative Frankenstein Tale archivePerformer Becky Edmunds and visual artist Sarah Hardy search for ways to create a better human. Their research has taken them to scientists, posthumanists, religious leaders, futurologist and cryonicists. Future Human is the re-making of a human body - Becky sculpts her body into new shapes using intensive weight-training techniques while Sarah produces prosthetic body casts. The performance consists of Becky's interaction with Sarah's sculptures and takes place in A Cabinet of Curiosities. Future Human is an on-going experiment and members of the public have the opportunity to visit the 'work in progress' and observe each stage of development.
