Fissures in the Foundation archiveFissures in the foundation, cracks in the wall, uncertain futures, shifting values..inspired by a vision of the new millennium, the play presents a cascade of images and short stories, set against music and spoken word, with extensive and brilliant use of physical skills, acrobatic fast footwork, juggling, trapeze and jump-up comedy. Based on the writings of Eric Hobsbawm, a company of assorted tumblers, wise-crackers, good-time guys and fast forward girls, freefall, bicker and juggle with the future of their world. Meanwhile, the bigger world throws them a few cruel dilemmas they find hard to catch.
