Dancing in my Dreams archiveWhen the bombs begin to fall, Kathleen's life is changed forever as she is forced to abandon her London home for the farms and fields of the countryside. She escapes from this strange, unsettling new world into the music and dance of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Dancing in My Dreams is a musical play by award-winning international playwright Neil Duffield, inspired by the many children whose lives were changed forever by the experience of living in wartime Britain. With dance and songs from the 1930's, this enchanting play embraces the harsh reality of being an evacuee whilst exposing the new-found freedom of life in the British countryside.
