Come Good Rain archiveCome Good Rain is a moving and inspirational autobiographical account of writer and actor George Seremba, as he takes the audience on his journey from survival to triumph over the oppressive political regimes of Uganda in the 70 s. Integrating African song and folklore as well as live percussion, Seremba depicts the vibrancy and wonder of youth, his deep love for Africa, and how as a student and political activist, he suffered torture and near death. Seremba recounts the horror of the political climate of Uganda under the murderous regimes of Milton Obote and Idi Amin, and his near-execution. It is also a story of love and courage when facing what seems like insurmountable obstacles. With poetic sincerity, Seremba captures the hearts of audiences who experience with him the thoughts and words of a man embracing life.
