Colley Cibber - The Man Who Re-Wrote Shakespeare archiveFirst produced at the National Theatre, John Dalby brings to life one of the 18th century theatre's most influential figures. A man who was a brilliant comedian (the first Lord Foppington in The Relapse), Cibber knew anybody who was anybody and usually had something to say about them. The show is based upon Cibber's own book 'An Apology For The Life Of Mr Colley Cibber, Comedian'.
