Citizen Paine archiveAt the height of the French Revolution one Englishman arrives to champion the cause of democracy. Thomas Paine, renowned author of The Rights of Man, is caught up in the flow of events. It isn't long before he is imprisoned and waiting for a meeting with Madame La Guillotine.
