It's 2020. Five convicted murderers have opted to have their sentences reviewed by the mass TV audience. Day and night for five weeks they will be scrutinized, eating, fighting, doing chores and performing challenges, but once a week a nominated cellmate is life will be in the hands of the voting public at home. It becomes evident that the show's outcome is rigged and the cellmates are in fact actors, but as the cellmate's gain stature it becomes a real life-and-death intimacy of alliances and betrayals, as one by one the actors are eliminated.
