Cell Mates archiveThe story of British spy George Blake who in 1960 was jailed for 42 years for his leaks to the KGB. Whilst in prison he becomes friends with Sean Bourke, a petty criminal who eventually manages, single handedly, to spring Blake from the Scrubs. The two meet later in Moscow where they fall into a relationship of mutual dependence and betrayal. The play that Stephen Fry walked out of when it opened in 1995.
