Cariad archiveA chance meeting reunites Jayne and Blodwen after twenty five years of separation. Jayne has almost no recognition of the village where she lived as a young child. She returns for the first time and finds herself in a foreign landscape, never having felt more alone. Set in mid Wales, Cariad (Welsh noun; love, darling, dear) explores the themes of memory, loyalty, family legacy and desire, and the nuances of language. Cariad is the story of one life making an impression on another. Being reminded of who we were once upon a time, is it possible to rediscover who we set out to become?
