The Owle Schreame theatre company presents three obscure Jacobean plays, two of them world premieres, in performance at the burial site of their authors. Staged at their final resting places, these classical productions are unique in having their Playwrights present for the run. With pieces so obscure the production scripts have been transcribed from the original texts, this Autumn the Owle Schreame theatre company are literally making history with a pair of world premieres, nearly 400 years after their writing. Any profit made is intended to go towards a memorial to these forgotten writers, and the playtexts are to be published by the company, with production notes and performance details. The season is funded entirely by the company's Artistic Director Brice Stratford, who is also producing, directing and performing in the shows.
