Apes' Society archiveTwo million years ago. A tropical rainforest. The dawn of Man. Total darkness. Mysterious sounds fill the night. The sun rises. Apes appear followed by Man. When Man finds Woman, they leave the Apes' Society and go towards the light as they embark on their quest for a better life. Apes' Society explores exciting new forms of theatre using fantastic sound, emotions, facial expressions and body language to deal with some of our most basic elements, natural instincts and behaviour. A journey to discover how we created our first words, songs, dance and music, Apes' Society takes us back in time to the mysterious world when Man and Apes were supposed to have live together. Apes' Society is a thought-provoking and unforgettable production, both a comedy and a tragedy, a powerful story which raises many issues about our own present society and the way we deal with people.
