November 1918...After four long years of conflict there have been orders: at eleven o'clock, the guns will fall silent. Until then, they still thunder and men still die. Out in No Man's Land, two soldiers from opposing armies are trapped in a shell hole and can do nothing but wait together and shelter. Meanwhile behind the Front, a nurse prepares for the final casualties. Time passes so slowly the hands of their watches seem to have stopped...
