Alice archiveAlice Hargreaves takes refuge in her dusty cellar, rediscovering her childhood amongst broken tennis racquets, old lamp shades and moth-eaten christening gowns. Meanwhile her son Alan, a WWI soldier, makes the same imaginary journey down the rabbit hole to escape the madness of war, animating the objects around him to return them both to a wonderland of talking rabbits, mad hatters and savage queens.
