After the Storm archiveIt is 1918. The Great War is over. Okoli Madu, a returnee soldier returns from the Western Front with hopes and aspirations, but his hopes are dashed and his resettlement plans become dishevelled. He starts a campaign, but is met with hostility from all directions. After The Storm, is a story of one man's quest for survival and posterity, characterised by selflessness, determination and fortitude. The production epitomises the plight of colonial soldiers (The Forgotten Heroes) involved in The Great War and their subsequent struggles in a post war era.
