After the Blue archiveFear breeds silence?silence breeds strength? strength needs love?love needs freedom? From the age of thirteen Lauren's life was turned upside down as she became the victim of sexual abuse from a drunken step- father. After her mother's death the abuse is so violent that she has only one option. With the help of her fly by night cousin they take a drastic measure. Now all Lauren wants is to protect her sister Ursy, and to prevent the discovery of her dark secret. Her freedom is short lived. The local investigating policeman begins to show a perverse and obsessive interest in both the sisters and in the disappearance of the step father. Lauren is imprisoned by her past and is sucked back into the quick sands of abuse ... But Ursy still has a chance ... Set in a decaying clifftop house on the outskirts of a Cornish seaside town this disturbing four-hander bravely tackles issues of under-age sex, incest, deceit, possession and revenge.
