'There are certain conventions that are assumed and expected when you go to the theatre, for example the audience watch and the actors play. But Becka is fed up of playing to the audience, and decides to watch as she plays to the actors.' This play magnifies one rebellious moment when Becka throws her part out of the window, wanting the audience to focus on her, not the mask that she wears when she is on stage. This light comedy offers an insight into the particulars of the relationship individuals have with the theatre and the role they play in it.
